Watching how teachers conduct their lessons to primary levels awakened my worries and burdens on different levels . The constant fear of not being able to communicate and connect with the learners, not being able to deliver the learning plans and not getting a response during the lesson proper are one of those. Most classes, especially in lower grades, are not using English as their mode of communication when teaching. However, it is very noticeable how they are into Constructivism methods and Active Learning. Teachers are allowing the students to speak their minds most of the time. More often, they are conducting Interactive discussions in performing the subject matter.

One thing I observed is how they maximize the usage of the boards and television instead of traditional materials when teaching. They are also relying on the workbooks and textbooks as their resource material in teaching. The classrooms are also laid out into minimal boards and design compared to what we are used to in the Philippines. As for their assessment, they are strong on making it authentic by letting students perform their acquired knowledge through sharing. As for higher grades, I am quite unfamiliar since I only got a chance to observe lower or primary grades. With these in mind, I was challenged to take my approach to a different level in order to cater to the diverse needs of learners around the world
